Our thanks to..

Paul Fontaine, principal and senior urban designer at JJR, Ann Arbor, for being receptive to this project, visiting our studio, hosting a student presentation, and for knowing where the schools and the profession might still meet.

Barry Murray, director of community and economic development for the City of Dearborn, for getting the project rolling, for organizing an overview session, for providing insights into the economic and political factors for making the Detroit-Ann Arbor transit a reality.

George Moroz, assistant to the president at The Henry Ford, for inviting us backstage, even when the more difficult challenge of a new connection to THF might be years away, and even though the studio did not rise to the challenge of planning that connection.

Ed Bagale, vice chancellor at our sister campus UM Dearborn, for the best big picture on regional strategic plans for the River Rouge, and for connecting us with more resources than we had occasion to tap.

Also Tim Bracco, of Ford Land, for taking part in the overview briefing; Orin Gelderloos, professor of biology at UM Dearborn, for an excellent interpretation of the Rouge, and of the Environmental Learning Center; and Sam Lovell, senior landscape architect at Hamilton Anderson for explaining designs for the greenway

For reviewing the work at home in the studios:
Roddy Creedon, Britt Eversole, Dawn Gilpin, Melanie Kaba, Coleman Jordan, Goeffrey Thun, Liz Vandermark,
Jason Young.
