moving through an interstitial space somewhere between life and life. move through, push through. no contact, no neighbors, just networks. technology expands, creating a blandness of place. transit is about me, my time, my schedule, my track. place itself has little significance.

absorbed into the sprawl of the metro, a city begins to lose its own identity. big box takes over small town. local fades into regional. city lines become nothing more than school districts and property taxes. our existence in the virtual world of cell phones and email outweighs the value of the “local”.

introduce interface. create a moment of localized connection. allow people to relate through the means they’ve grown accustomed to. watch it evolve. questions, answers, comments, images, articles, recipes. expression materialized through digital graffiti.

reputation and filtering govern. approval of upload is provided by users. entrance to the system requires engagement: approve, flag, discard. options exist: tag, answer, comment. like it’s neighbor to the south, archive for future access.

the architecture follows. overlap, intersect, orientation. information and circulation. move along, move through, move between. a place with a texture. a moment. a connection.
