ISTAT-MACIS Data
on Judges Decisions on Individual Layoffs in
This Dataset has been constructed
based on information originally collected by the Italian Statistic Institute
(ISTAT). All uses of the data will have to be notified to me at
mmacis@uchicago.edu. The source ISTAT-MACIS should be cited, together with the
paper for which the dataset was originally built: Mario Macis - "Il mercato

of the Data. The ISTAT-MACIS data refer to
litigations in which: a) the main reason of the litigation is the termination
of an individual employment relationship; b) the plaintiff is a private sector employee;
c) the defendant is a private sector firm; All judges’ decisions are at the
“primo grado”
