Michigan Flyer - Commuter bus that operates between East Lansing, Jackson, Ann Arbor & Detroit Metro Airport. They are offering a $10 special rate at the moment. Note: you don't have to be going to the Airport to use the service.
Sometimes people need air transport due to the distances involved. There is a volunteer group that maintains a listing of services that transport patients on a volunteer basis. Airflight - volunteer groups
