MICHIGAN COUNTY HEALTH PLANS

 A number of counties throughout Michigan have community programs to assist with health care for individuals not covered by health insurance. These programs are designed to help those who have no public or private health insurance and meet certain criteria.

Counties with a web site about their program that may include application forms includes:

Washtenaw County Health Plan Information brochure and application information is available in Spanish, Arabic and Chinese in addition to English.

Wayne County does not have a County Health Plan. For information on health services in Southeastern Michigan, read the brochure Help with Health Care in Southeastern Michigan.

The Department of Human Services maintains a complete listing of phone contact numbers by county on their website for Adult Benefit Waiver Information.
