Information Web Site for Social Workers
Social workers in health care deal with a wide range of psychosocial and medical issues. In addition they need to be aware of a wide range of community resources available to assist patients, families and the health care staff.
Providing services requires that social workers have available a variety of educational material that they can pass along. In addition they need to have access to information about what is available in the patient's home community. The purpose of this web site is to make this information accessable.
The left hand column will lead you to information and resources that hopefully will make it easier for you to provide services for patients in the medical setting.
