This collection was purchased off the shelf, over the years, directly by my dad. During the late sixties and throughout the seventies, he worked at a convenience store that stocked comics. Having developed an addiction to comics as a child, and later an immense appreciation for art, this job made it that much easier for his collection to grow exponentially. A compulsive collector, he obtained nearly every comic produced during 1968-1982.

While the whole collection is easily over 100 long boxes and contains comics from the Golden Age into the 21st century, the bulk and most impeccably conditioned comics originate in the Bronze Age.  Many of the comics display attributes such as bright colors, high gloss, white pages, and little to no wear.  Frankly, many appear unread and have been stored in the attic for decades.  The comics I am selling in this round of auctions only constitute a fraction of his collection.
