Mike Kelley
On May 4, 1996, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University
of Michigan with a Bachelor's of Science and Engineering degree in
Computer
Engineering. In addition to receiving a bachelors degree, I have decided
continue my education at the University
of Michigan to obtain a masters degree. My M.S.E degree will be from
the Electrical Engineering and Computer
Science (EECS) department in digital VLSI
circuit design. While pursuing a masters, I have received a Graduate
Student Research Assistantship where I conduct research and take classes.
Current Research/Projects:
-
Working with a design team of students and faculty who are designing a
High-Performance Microprocessor
in CGaAs.
-
Implementing a 32-bit multiply accumulate unit in CGaAs.
-
Designing a reduced PowerPC ISA IEEE compliant floating point unit ( FPU
) in CMOS.
-
Investigating a hardware implementation of the Java Virtual Machine Specification.
-
Designing a 16-bit Microcontroller Memory Tester ( MMT
) in CMOS.
