been released domestically by Rykodisc. The band's first three records (Bam!
Mustafas Play Stero, Local Music, and Shopping) are available as imports,

Hijaz also shines on Jali Roll [Rogue Records import], where he supports
Dembo Konte and Kausu Kuyateh, two spectacular Senegambian kora [21-string
harp] players. You can hear Ben Mandelson on Magazine's Magic, Murder
And The Weather [I.R.S.], Holger Czukay's The Snake Charmer [Island],
and Orchestra Jazira's Nomadic Activities [Beggar's Banquet]. Most
