THE RECORDINGS OF THE COMIC OPERA GUILD

The recordings listed were recorded live on stage, and the sound quality is, with a few exceptions, very good. Most were recorded by Tom Petiet, using a five microphone setup and an uncompressed open reel format. Also included in the list are recordings made by the G &S Small Company, the immediate predecessor of the Comic Opera Guild. Many are available in both MUSIC ONLY and COMPLETE editions. MUSIC ONLY versions may feature soloists from two casts. ALL PERFORMANCES ARE IN ENGLISH. When the production is an original translation or performing version, credit for the English Lyrics and Dialogue is given following the composer. The reference numbers trell the following:

NOTE: When there are both a “complete” and a “music only” version” both catalog numbers will be listed.

The standard cost of single CDs is $15. The standard cost of 2CD sets is $22.

Typically, we ship in Jiffy envelopes unless there are 2 pounds or more of an order. One CD in a slim jewel case weighs about 2.5 ounces. One double CD weighs about 4 ounces. The bag weighs about one ounce.

We charge a standard $5.00 shipping for orders under 2 pounds. For larger orders, and international orders, it is best to contact us at constu@comcast.net for an estimate.

We accept checks and money orders. At this time, we cannot accept credit cards for purchases.
