On May 25, 2004 the four classrooms of Uintah first-graders gave a combined performance. Simon's class presented a story about a really big turnip. Simon was cast as "Rain", along with Michelle Ngo. The two of them dressed in watery-looking clothes and tossed blue tinsel.Later in the evening, all four classes joined to present a recitation of the jazzy poem version of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". In keeping with the tone of the poem, they all wore shades. It was a hoot.
