These are the little ones, they can all be displayed on a couple of
shelves. I enjoy the small ones because the can fly almost anywhere, they
are inexpensive and easy to build. They can all be flown on Mini (13mm),
Micro (10mm) or MicroMaxx (6mm) motors.
The first picture is the smallest models which will all fly on MicroMaxx motors. A MicroMaxx motor and an Estes 1/4A3-3T are shown for reference. The picture shows the MicroMaxx UFO, Space Fighter, Saturn V and Space Shuttle. It also shows my three smallest Mosquitos. The red one is the original, the purple one is a .82x downscale meant to fly on Apogee 10mm motors and the tiny gold one is for Micro Maxx motors. Also pictured are my .27x Super Vega and the .43x Alpha that fly on Apogee Micro Motors, a 1/5x Fat Boy and my Maxx powered Mean Machine and Mars Snooper.
The second group includes scale models such as an the Apogee Micro V2, original Estes Little Joe II, Boyce Saturn 1B and Saturn V, Niebauer 1/100 Mercury-Redstone, downscale Big Berthas, and an original Estes Scout. Also pictured are a couple of RTFs, the Mini X-Wing and Mini Marz lander painted and decaled like the original Estes Mars Lander.
The 3rd group shows downscales of Estes kits such as 1/3x and 2/3x
Fat
Boys, my .6x Der Red Max, 3/4x Alpha, my Invader Rediroc that I converted
to a Micro UFO, my Hawkeye and the 2 stage Beta in original size. Also
pictured are the 1.35x Mosquito which can use A-C engines and my scratchbuilt
Alcor (the blue one).
