At the tender age of 18, Private Litz was a member
of the United States Army. He was promoted to Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne
Division before he left the armed services to continue his education. Starting
at Plano Community College (2 years) he later transfered to the University
of Texas at Dallas. Kyle was the first graduate student to begin research
on germylene complexes in the group, making
a series of new discoveries his first week in the lab.

Kyle doesn't spend all his time in the glovebox. Here
he his exploring the reaction of sun and spiced rum in the Virgin
Islands.
Kyle graduated with his PhD in the summer of 1998 and
was a post-doctoral associate for a year at BF Goodrich. He now works
for GE central R&D in Schenectady, NY. Below there is a picture
of Kyle of running a 22L Reactor for developmental work on a project.
