Mauraway's Not Official at All C-Tec Site
ARRIVANT MAINTENANT ! En francais (peut-etre
mauvais pardon) pour tous les fanatiques belge et francais de Jean Luc de
Meyer.
Due to great demand, finally getting access to
my CDs, and the lyrics for Darker disappearing off the internet, I am
now starting from scratch trying to figure out the lyrics to all the CTec
CDs. I never knew my site would be in such demand ! So please hold on
and stay tuned !

Please don't tell me this is the only site dedicated to C-Tec?! After
searching and finding nothing but bits and peices, and lots of defunct
pages, I couldn't find any. Even the official site was 404.
So, being bored out of my mind, I decided to make this C-Tec site. I love
C-Tec. So I hope you enjoy. Any comments or corrections, feel
free to let me know.
C-Tec started out life as Cyber-Tec Project, releasing their first ep
under that name in 1995. They shortened their name after that.
C-Tec is mainly Jean Luc de Meyer (Front 242, Cobalt 60) -vocals, Marc
Heal (Cubanate) -keyboards, and Ged Denton - keyboards. They have also had
help at various times from Phil Barry, Rhys Fulber (FLA), Haujobb,
Julian Beeston (Nitzer Ebb), and Jonathon Sharp.
For anyone familiar with Front 242, C-Tec is a little different. The music
is still very intense, but you can actually hear the lyrics because de
Meyer sings. Yes, sings. He doesn't just scream. And the lyrics are much
more introspective, as opposed to "destruction GRRR". Definitely takes a
little getting used to, but he's just as good at this style as he was at
the other. Its hard to say which style I like more.
