Mason Wright

In December 2018 I started work as a Research Scientist at Facebook, in the Seattle office. Before that I defended my Ph.D. thesis in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at the University of Michigan, advised by Michael P. Wellman. I completed my master's in CS there in 2016.

I work in the Artificial Intelligence field, studying optimization and modeling in strategic settings. My work has used tools from reinforcement learning, game theory, and data science.

In the summer of 2016 and 2017 I worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Microsoft, using machine learning to optimize ad quality on Bing Ads.

Previously I was a software developer at Vanderbilt University, where I worked with Pratim Sengupta and Yevgeniy Vorobeychik.
