Music/Radio

Free Old Time Radio Downloads. Nero Wolfe is a personal favorite.
U-Mich Student Radio Station. Saturday morning programs are good. Wendy's show is Friday morning.
Frontier Radio. Good shows include Buzz's Garage, Alternating Currents, and Jonny Z's Chicken Shack (see station's schedule page for archives).
Wisconsin Public Radio. Programming is better then most stations I've heard.
Hungry March Band. See below...
Juliet Echo. An old friend's involved in several music projects.
Lord of the Yum Yum. Mp3's aren't too impressive, but great performer. He sometimes plays at the Elbow Room (see below).


Ann Arbor Area

Detroit Area Concert Listings. The adds are annoying but the listings are fairly comprehensive. Base page has more on Detroit.

My favorite Detroit area concert venue is the Bohemian National Home. It's an old elementary school. Concerts take place on a stage in the gym.
My second favorite Detroit area concert venue is the Elbow Room. There are shows there (of varying quality) almost every night.

Detroit Film Theatre. Gets good documentaries (and is in the art museum's basement).
Ann Arbor Events. The city's official events website.
Ultimate Frisbee. Seasonal leagues/pickup games.
Running. Local events, maps, etc...
