Graphic Design

Goal: Explain a process using only pictures.

I chose the process of baking brownies and represented it as a series of pictures that are lined sequentially. Each picture represents a step in the process, thus the poster is pretty self explanatory.

Goal: Design a poster to reflect your daily schedule.

During the semester, my schedule varies depending on the things on my planner. Thus I have used images of a planner as well as other elements from my everyday life as the background of the poster. The post-its contain more detailed notes on what a particular day is like.

Goal: Design iterations of a business card with a logo and a tagline.

I believe that usability, functionality and design are synonomous to the three primary colors with respect to product design. Thus I have used a simplistic, tri-colored layout for the card employing only straight lines. The tagline reflects my motto to constantly think outside the box.

Class Project

The class project was based on a text piece: Fading bits of History- Micheal S. James. The objective of the project was to explore various communications modes, namely, text, icons, images and diagrams, by creating static as well as dynamic representations of the write-up.
