I'm a third year PhD student in mathematics.

My advisor is Professor Sergey Fomin.

My main interests are enumerative and algebraic combinatorics, and their relations with algebraic geometry and representation theory. My current topics of interest are the connections between the following:

  • Symmetric functions, Young tableaux, Schubert polynomials
  • Representations of the Symmetric group
  • Schubert calculus on Grassmannians and flag varieties
  • Coxeter groups, finite reflection groups, root systems

Before coming to Michigan, I completed both, Undergraduate in Pure Mathematics, and Masters in the department of Combinatorics and Optimization, at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Professor Ian Goulden, where I worked on enumerative aspects of ramified covers of the sphere, factorizations of permutations, and the Hurwitz problem.
