Strategies for Management Consulting

Teaching Style

This course adopts the perspective of a management consultant working with a large firm. Since management consulting is a dynamic, action-oriented process that deals with complex issues, this course is taught through a variety of methods: rigorous case study analysis, simulations, guest speakers, supplemental readings, assignments, and dynamic discussions. The objective is to help the students synthesize an approach to identifying the key issues and to prepare them for the management consulting profession.
