Global Projects II Course

Global Projects II is a fourteen week elective course offered to second-year MBA students. These students generally enroll in Global Projects II as a “capstone” course, applying the sum of their business experience (pre-MBA, first-year projects, summer internships and second-year coursework) to solve the complex needs of our sponsors. Each team consists of four to eight MBA students who work on an international business project for a sponsoring organization. A University of Michigan faculty member works closely with the team to facilitate and advise on the engagement.

Students engage in six weeks of pre-trip research and analysis, gather data at the international location(s) for up to one week at the end of February, and follow up with seven weeks of further analysis and data gathering. At the end of the engagement, the team provides an oral presentation to the sponsoring organization, and submits a detailed written report.
