Training Tips:

  1. Follow training protocol listed.Train with high intensity!
  2. You're a champion, train like one!
  3. Increase the load as the weight becomes easier to move (set to set if possible).
  4. Your peak strength and power should be during the last block of training.
  5. Be aware of your technique. Don't sacrifice it for heavier weight!

 

Hello Boys:

This summer preseason self-coaching sessions are broken down into 6 weeks. It is primarily geared for the player who will be away on vacation. The rest of you will be trained according to the schedule on the calendar.  

Please use this program as a guide to get you ready for tryouts. This program contains recommendation on technical, tactical and nutritional work. Develop a training mentality where you do something six days a week (take one full day off a week where you literally do nothing). On the days that you feel overly energetic, be careful that you do not train for longer than the recommended time - don’t burn out!

There is only a certain amount of time in each day. Organize your time to achieve peak performance. Understand what is important and what is not. What to do first, what to do last. What to do every day and what to do once a week. Envision that you are a coach trying to get you as a player to be the best that you can be. Train with focus, discipline and intensity because the challenges, obstacles and trials will be more difficult this year.
