This research is being done to identify genetic abnormalities in individuals with Motor Stereotypy disorders.
Families with an affected proband will be asked to provide a sample of saliva and complete a variety of questionnaires. In addition, we may ask the proband to participate in neuropsychological (cognitive) testing. This testing should take about 2-3 hours. The participants would need to be able to come to Baltimore.
This study is approved by the Johns Hopkins IRB (NA_00011152).
