The Epilepsy Phenome/Genome Project is a collaborative effort between 13 academic clinical centers and the NIH to create a repository of clinical and genetic information on a select group of patients with epilepsy. The goal is to identify genes that influence the development of epilepsy and genes that affect the response to treatment.   The study has IRB approval at all 13 clinical sites and is sponsored by the NIH/NINDS.
