
Hyperbaric Oxygen for Cerebral Palsy

We are enrolling 3-8 year-old patients with cerebral palsy who will get 40 dives (hyperbaric treatments) at 1.5 ATA. Half will get 21% air, the other half 100%. Blinded testing is done before and up to 6 months after the treatments.
Exclusion criteria are :
Previous hyperbaric treatments
Active seizure disorder
Significant cardiopulmonary disease
Orthopedic surgery
BOTOX
Baclofen pump implant planned for the upcoming 6-9 months
History of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy
The study is sponsored by the Department of Defense and has
multiple IRB approvals.
