Infantile Spasms Registry & Genetic Studies

This is a web-based registry of children who have had or now have a diagnosis of infantile spasms. It is an effort to collect treatment and clinical outcome data on a large group of children with infantile spasms.  There is also a genetic research component that seeks to learn more about the genetic causes and mechanisms of spasms.  We are especially interested in children with Down Syndrome who have spasms, and cases of cryptogenic spasms.  The study is IRB approved and is funded by the NIH NSADA grant.
