1.                  The Child-Neuro E-Mail List (the "List") is owned and maintained by Steven Leber and Kenneth Mack ("Owner").  It is hosted by the Dundee Internet Services and supported financially by the Child Neurology Society.  The List is made available as a voluntary service of Owner, and subscribers have no right or expectation of continued access to the List.

2.                  Subscribers to the List must abide by the following rules and guidelines.

a.                  The List is dedicated to providing a forum to share information on child neurology.  Postings must be related to this topic.

b.                  Do not post commercial, political or other unrelated messages.  The List is a discussion forum on a specific topic and is not to be used for other purposes.

c.                  When posting a message, include your name and affiliation.

d.                  Please treat everyone with respect.  Do not post any defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, condescending, or illegal materials.  This is a discussion area where opinions and differences of opinion are welcome.  However, challenging or attacking others is not appropriate.

e.                  No one is allowed to collect or use the addresses of the e-mail list subscribers for the purpose of unsolicited e-mail marketing or other “spam.”

f.                    Do not post any information or other material protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner.  By posting material, the posting party warrants and represents that it owns the copyright or has received permission from the copyright owner.  The posting party also grants Owner, its members and the Child-Neuro E-Mail List subscribers the non-exclusive right and license to display, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, print and use such information or material posted to this e-mail list.

g.                 Owner expressly disclaims all warranties regarding any and all information posted on this site, whether posted by it, its subscribers, or any other person or entity.  This disclaimer includes a disclaimer of all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use or purpose.

Owner shall not be responsible or liable for any special, indirect, consequential, or other damage whatsoever arising out of or resulting from the use or performance of any information posted on this site.

h.                  Owner does not monitor the List for inappropriate postings and does not undertake editorial control of postings.  However, in the event that an inappropriate posting is brought to Owner’s attention, Owner reserves the right to take whatever action it deems appropriate.

i.                    Owner reserves the right to deny access/restrict access/terminate access to the List in its sole and complete discretion.

j.                 E-mail messages and file attachments can be used to transmit viruses. Be cautious of all file attachments.  Make sure your computer has good, up-to-date virus software.  Subscribers participate in the List at their own risk and subscribers agree to release Owner and other subscribers from any and all damages which may be caused by viruses.
