NRE 586 Visualizing the Environment Visualizing the Environment is an introductory class for landscape architecture graduate students. Within this class, we explore different methods for visual communication. These methods range from the drafting conventions of earlier times to the modern use of computer technology to assist how we manipulate images. My goal is for each student to find his/her own ‘voice’ and use this ‘voice’ to create meaningful presentations that effectively express design ideas. My motto in teaching this class is “learn by doing”. Jana Vanderhaar drew the elegant section above. |
