The most important thing you can do to help is to tell other people about this site. Whether they're Kerry supporters or not, whether you think they're 'political' or not — Iraq is on everyone's mind, and people appreciate the chance to know the truth about what John Kerry has been saying. Please write to friends and relatives, tell them a little bit about the site, and give them the URL. The media has not done a very good job of reporting what John Kerry has said, and the GOP, through its distributon of the "Flipper" video (among other things), is actively spreading confusion about what he's said. Anything we do at the grassroots to get the truth out will help.

About Us:

This site is maintained by two people: Karen van Hoek does the research and writing, and Neil Clennan does the web page design and graphics. A few other friends provide occasional help (thanks to Christina, Susan, Andy and George). We're not representatives of the Kerry/Edwards campaign, the Democratic Party, or any other political organization. We made the site as a labor of love, because we were disturbed by all the distortion of Kerry's views out there. We think that the voters deserve to have an honest debate about the candidates' views on Iraq and national security, instead of being misled by the GOP's very deliberate campaign to confuse people about where John Kerry stands. We believe that anyone who takes the time to read what John Kerry has been saying can see for themselves that he's consistent and that he's been making very good sense, but if some readers come away with a better grasp of his position and yet disagree with it, we'll still feel that the site has served its purpose.

Our goal is to provide enough explanations and summaries to make it easy for busy people to grasp the main points John Kerry has been making, and to back everything up with his actual statements so that no one has to take our word for it -- you can see what he's been saying for yourself. If you have any questions or suggestions for ways we could present the information more clearly, please contact us.
