The NSF Major Research Infrastructure program has funded our proposal for a multispectral (UV to IR) multidimensional spectrometer. The instrument will be housed in the physics department and will enable new modes of spectroscopy combining all regions of the UV, visible and IR spectrum. We are excited to build this one-of-a-kind spectrometer and bring together researchers from diverse fields through the power of spectroscopy!
We are calling it the Laboratory for Ultrafast Multidimensional Optical Spectroscopy (Lumos) in homage to the spell that creates light.
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on this project. Interested applicants are encouraged to contact me or Prof. Jennifer Ogilvie, the PI of the grant.

New multidimensional laser facility will enable new kinds of UV, visible, and IR multidimensional spectroscopy. Stay tuned for progress on the Laboratory for Ultrafast Multidimensional Optical Spectroscopy (Lumos).
