Take I-94 east, get off at exit 243 marked 23 mile road. Right turn and about 20 minutes later you will be in Algonac. Located straight across the St. Clair River is Walpole. There will be a ferry which will charge you approximately 4.00 for the ride there.

From Windsor, Ontario Take either HWY.2 or the 401 through to Wallaceburg. Follow Dufferin St. out of Wallaceburg and in five minutes you will be on Walpole Island.
From Toronto, Ontario Follow HWY.2 or 401 through to Thamesville exit number 109. Then take the road to Wallaceburg (Dufferin St.) and follow the signs to Walpole.
From Port Huron/Sarnia U.S. visitors can cross the Bluewater Bridge at Port Huron and follow formerly No.40 through Wallaceburg, and cross over to the island by bridge. Approximate time is 45 minutes.
