A heart shaped tree we saw on our way to Vermont (actually in NY)
Dan talks to a reporter on the ferry crossing Lake Champlain. It
was a race against time as I hoped to get into cell phone range before
5:00 pm. We were driving through the mountains and rural areas with no
signal. When we boarded the ferry, there was still no signal but once we
got out on the open water we got the signal bounce. I was quite happy to
see the signal, although it was quite windy and the ferry engine was very
loud.
Merging traffic that should be taken very seriously
We stopped overnight in Burlington and admired the nice college town. We
went up to the old section of the University of Vermont just before
dusk.
