Statement of Intent to Marry
I am writing to attest my intention to marry within 90 days of my fiancés admission to the United States on a K-1 Visa. My fiancé and I are planning to marry on November 30, 2002. We have reserved the church and have booked the reception. I have enclosed a copy of the contract with the hotel, for your information.
Sergio and I chose November 30, 2002 as our wedding date to give us time to prepare for marriage in the Catholic church (our diocese requires 9 months advance preparation) as well as to allow time for our K-1 Visa application to be processed. Assuming our K-1 Visa application is approved, Sergio will not enter the United States on the Visa before September 15, which is less than 90 days before our wedding date.
