HOSPITAL TESTING ARMENICUM TO REPORT DIRECTLY TO INTERIOR
MINISTRY
YEREVAN, April 29 (Noyan Tapan). The municipal hospital involved in
tests on Armenicum, a drug claimed by Armenian doctors to cure AIDS,
will no longer be subordinate to the Yerevan City Hall but will
report directly to the Interior and National Security Ministry. A
relevant resolution was passed by the government on March 18, 1999.
It will become the first medical establishment in Armenia to
specialize in AIDS treatment. Presently, the hospital is under
repairs. *01/-2e c17 $e17 29/04/99
