Interior and National Security Minister Serzh Sarkisian says
"fantastic results" have been achieved in the treatment of a new
group
of patients suffering from HIV or AIDS with what some top
officials
have described as a new drug curing the disease. In an interview
with
"Golos Armenii," Sarkisian quotes unnamed "doctors" as saying that
two
thirds of 13 patients undergoing treatment in one of Yerevan's
clinics
have gotten rid of the virus. "Armenia will both treat people
infected
with AIDS and produce the medicine," he announces.
