Sat 7-10

Today we went to Sardarabad, this museum on the Turkish border. The museum itself wasn't that exciting. It had a lot of rugs and stuff. But there was this walkway/park thing there that was really cool. It had all of these eagles that I heard used to point at Turkey (for protection, I guess). But then the Turkish government made them turn them around. Who knows? They also had some really cool toof statues. They also had a huge bell tower. We also went to the ruins of the church that St. John's in Southfield was modeled after, Zvarnats. That night Nayiri, Sevan, Ani, Lara, Sarkis, Cindy and I went to the Heineken Bar. It was really nice and upscale. Great food too.
