Mandy in August 2001. Mandy is the Mastiff that we adopted through MCOA Rescue.

Pictured here a much happier and confident girl than when we got her.. She is the Canine Boss

of the house and has no problem keeping the other 6canines in line. Mandy's favorite past

time is "pouncing" her toys or the other dogs.

August 2001 (3 Years): Mandy is 28 inches at the withers, 168 pounds.

She has recently begun dieting to go down to the comfortable weight of 140 pounds.

DJ is an absolute doll. She "talks" to Rick all of the time.

He has taught her to say. "out". She shakes, gives high five,

says please and thank you, and will fall over when shot with your finger.

What a character.

August 2001 ( 2-1/2 years old): DJ is 130 pounds, 30.5" at the withers.

Lyonhurst Cunning Cassiopia aka Cassie is the third of the Mastiffs that make their home with us.

Cassie comes from a phenominal blood line and has been a GREAT addition to our home. Cassie was born April 26, 2000.

She lives by the motto, "Gotta love me!!"

August 2001 (16 Months): Cassie is 108 pounds and 26-1/2 inches at the withers.

This is Poppy, Brittany's little dog with a big attitude. Poppy does not like other male dogs and is not very accepting of Vladimir, Benson, or Rocky. Luckily for everyone the boys don't care if he likes them or not. Poppy wants nothing other than to be the center of your universe, and luckily, Brittany is that for him.

This is Vladimir. If you know Rick you understand his name. He is named in honor of Vladimir Konstantinov because he

takes as good as he gives and loves every minute of it. Vladi is better known as "Devil Dog"

Vladimir's Statistics

15 Months: A slim 180 pounds and definitely "Daddy's Boy".

1 year old: 1/20/03 , 170 pounds and looking good.

9 Months: A healthy and slim 135 pounds. WOW!!

7 months: pproximately 110 pounds and full of the devil.

This is Benson. Littermate to Vladimir. In April of 2003 Benson was diagnosed with severe Hip Dysplasia in both hips,

but definitely worse on the left side; Only 25% of the ball is in the hip socket. He is currently taking Rimadyl, but we are going

to be starting him on Adequan injections. For more information on Dysplasia click here and you will be taken to the MCOA's

Rocky is a mouth and a half. Whoever said that dogs can't speak hasn't met this boy. Rocky's sire is Lyonhurst's Orson.

Rocky is very quickly becoming a BIG boy. At 6 months he is 27.5" at the withers and we are guessing at 130 pounds.
