Greetings! Welcome to my Web site. My interests include reading, genealogy, photography, watching TV, sports, and music (I play flute and alto sax and I’m a song leader at my church). Please read my biography to learn even more about me.

My family is very important to me. That’s why I’m exploring my roots. Want to see if we are kin? Here are your options:

Michigan State University is my alma mater and I’ll be a Spartan until the day I die!  I was a member of the awesome MSU Spartan Marching Band (SMB), participating in its color guard and alto saxophone sections and forever ruining my knee while learning the band’s trademark “Kickstep.” If you want to hear something tasty, listen to “The Series” (2000 edition), our drumline’s wicked street cadence. Learn more about the SMB and its traditions via its Wikipedia entry or view a promotional video on YouTube. While at MSU, I was a member of the Zeta Epsilon chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, a national honorary service fraternity for college bandsmen.

However, I am employed by the Big Ten’s so-called elite university, the University of Michigan. Also, check out the The Career Center website.

A current snapshot of me (2006)

No, it’s not obscene.

Hayden Christensen headshot I am a fan of handsome Canadian actor and rising star, Hayden Christensen, who played a certain villain in a certain blockbuster space saga that took place in a certain galaxy far, far away.

Can’t get enough of Hayden? Me neither.

Joe Lando headshot And, yes, I still sigh over actor Joe Lando who played Sully on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

Joe Lando’s filmography (Internet Movie Database)

The Joe Lando Web Page — I was the webmaster of the original Lando website — this one is, shall we say, less subdued than mine, but chockful of photos and information for the hard-core Lando Lover.

Visit the Bovenschen School. What, a school named after ME?? Hardly. It’s named after a wonderful man I once knew, in recognition of his long years of service at a Macomb county school district.
