Justus is son of Asa and Olive (Mallory) Stevens and grandson of Peter
and Lois (Glass) Stevens (see Wells Cemetery, Vermont). Lydia is daughter of
Ephraim Brailey and Margaret Seekins. Justus and Lydia are parents of Erastus
Stevens (see Lake View Cemetery).
Justus is on the right, Lydia in the middle and Uriah on the left. The
large stone beyond Uriah marks the Rushton's graves.
"Father Justus Stevens died Jan 16, 1881 aged 82 years 4 months / His many
virtues form the not least monument to his memory"
"Lydia wife of Justus Stevens died Feb 19, 1893 aged 86 years, 11 months,
20 days"
Uriah Stevens died 13 Dec 1867, age 21 years, 1 month, 4 days.
Update: Memorial Day weekend, 2007: Justus' stone has fallen over.
