The BATTLECARDDS card designs
Here are the designs of the different cards available in the game, as
well as a description of their features.

*Optimus Prime (Transformers)*
This is the standard Character Card. There is a picture of the
character on front, along with a listing of its name and occupation (and
the name of its pilot if it has one) at the top of the card, and a
description of the character's personality, or a favorite quote the
character always says at the bottom of the card.
The numbers at the left indicate the Power and Skill levels
of the character. The Power determines how much of a fighter the
character is, and the Skill determines How well the Character can do
things besides fight. On the far left of the card is the Class
Designation. This is important, because only certain classes of
Characters can perform certain actions.

*Lake Michigan (Transformers)*
This is the standard Battlefield card. Battlefields are the
territory that the Player is using his/her army to conquer. There is a
picture of the battlefield, along with the name of the battlefield at the
bottom or side of the card. There is a number on the card which
indicates energy points. these can be tapped for various effects on
the game..

*Lynn Minmei (Robotech)*
This is the standard Intangible card. Intangibles are cards that
have unpredictable affects on gameplay. There is a picture of something
pertaining to the intangible's affect on the front of the card (The
artwork varies between painted art and line art), with the name of the
card placed on the far left, and a description of the affect placed at
the top of the card. Some cards will feature the words 'Play until
Discard' on the far right, which means that unlike other intangibles,
these particular ones stay in play after the turn is over.
*Optimus Prime (Transformers)*
This is a Transformation card. These cards are what the characters
use to convert to other forms. sometimes a Transformation may alter a
character's Power/Skill ratings, and/or it may allow the character to do
a special action. Unless otherwise stated, Transformation actions and
special actions can be combined to perform devastating affects, and some
special actions can only be used when a character is transformed.
The Transformation cards in the T-bots version are called
Bioshells, which are aromor-like upgrades which allow the T-bots
to convert.
The Veritech fighters from Robotech and the Multi-changers from
Transformers may have more than one Transformation available. When a
character is destroyed, all Transformation cards specific to that
character are removed from the game.
*Interference (Transformers)*
This is a Special Action card. Instead of regular actions, which
only add to the power of a character, a special action can be used, which
alters the game without neccessarily adding or subtracting power from a
character. There are usually two kinds of special acitons. The kind shown
here is class specific, where any member of a certain class can use this
particular action. The second kind is character specific, where a
particular action is only available to one character and one character
only. in this case, instead of the class, the character's name will be
listed on the left side of the card.
