MARSHALL

name: Marshall
real name: Elden Graves
Ht: 6'0 Wt: 240 lbs.
powers: none

origin:

Elden Graves was born and raised in Flint, MI as the son of a famous superhero. After his family was allegedly assassinated, Elden himself trained to be a hero with his God-family. Unable to find a job in Flint, Elden moved to Los Angeles and was hired as a profesional superhero named Kornerstone. After a suicide mission involving him and a team of heroes he recruited, he returned to Flint as a hero and celebrity. He is immediately hired as a superhero, and establishes himself under the name of Marshall.

story:

During his time as MARSHALL, elden gives a lot of considerartion to what it means to be a hero. considering that this profession is what ultimately destroyed his father, he constantly wrestles with his own destiny, wondering if he will suffer the same fate one day.

Elden has no powers, but many of the villains that he battles against do, and in many cases he finds himself out-numbered, out-gunned, and out-classed. Even with the odds hopelessly against him, Marshall still finds a way to win.

To complicate things, Elden is part of a State-founded project to boost support in the ghost-town city of Flint. as part of the program, Marshall was hired by the Flint Police Department as a "Professional Hero", and made into a statewide celebrity. Elden is basically nothing more than a supra-cop, but the people of Michigan know him as if he were a famous movie or sports star. The people think that Elden is a hero, but Elden isn't too sure. . . .

'Truth be known, my entire life has been defined by people who felt like they could do whatever they wanted whenever they wanted to, regardless of who they hurt in the process. The problem is that there was no one to challenge these people...until now. I guess that's the real reason why I wear this badge...to bring order out of chaos, and to keep the bullies of this city in check.' -- Elden Graves, from Marshall #5
