CAREER HIGHLIGHT: I'm really appreciative of the many people who approach me and get all misty-eyed about a Hoodoo Gurus show they saw. It makes you feel like you've made a valuable contribution in this crazy world. Having said that, I still reckon the pinnacle of my tenure as a musician would be the release of The Monarchs debut.

DRINKING HIGHLIGHT: Ask around - everybody's got a Brad Shepherd drinking story. I've been responsible for all manner of outrageous rock'n'roll behaviour while under the influence, but I think it would be rather irresponsible of me to glamourise it in print!

FAVOURITE COCKTAIL: Dear Lord, my one true weakness would be a margarita. You know how it works - tequila, lemon juice, lime, ice, salt, triple sec. Just make certain that you use triple sec, not Grand Marnier!

BEST TIME TO ENJOY THE DRINK: At your convenience - you mix 'em and I'll enjoy 'em.

FAVOURITE LATE-NIGHT DRINKING MUSIC: I'm particularly fond of the '70's AM Rock. <

HANGOVER CURE: Two 600mL Gatorades, two Red Bulls, one V Energy Drink, 100g Twisties, one litre vanilla icecream, one medium...
