My name is Joanne (she/her/hers) and I am first year Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics PhD student and Rackham Merit Fellow. I was a Marjorie Lee Browne scholar at University of Michigan as a master's student. My research advisor is Dr. Peter Miller. Our current project studies forward and inverse scattering for the Semiclassical Defocusing Nonlinear Schrodinger Equation. Before joining University of Michigan, I studied mathematics and physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz as a UC LEADS scholar.
