RC German students have shown a great deal of interest in theater projects. Such projects bring students from all different backgrounds and abilities to work together creatively. Many students have found that working on theater projects has given them their most valuable practice with the language. Multi-media play productions by "Deutsches Theater" have been performed on a regular basis to audiences in and outside of Ann Arbor since 1985. Being in a play improves students' pronunciation, intonation, and sense of the language. All productions by RC "Deutsches Theater" are benefit productions, with proceeds going to charity.
