Daniel Kahn is a rising star singer/ song writer who,
after graduating from the University of Michigan
Residential College (2001) ran away to Europe to travel and
perform. In Berlin he started working with Tzadik, EMI recording
artist Paul Brody, who has extensively toured Europe and America as
a trumpet soloist. Brody's newest CD features John Zorn and Frank
London. Both Kahn and Brody are based in Berlin and will be
playing together in Michigan for the first time.

Brody and Kahn played a mix of Kurt Weill, klezmer
improvisations, and Hank Williams. Radical Jewish Culture
confronts its German-Jewish roots in song and trumpet.
