The students in Janet Hegman Shier's Cultures in Dialogue course (RC Hums 334) will present

scenes from contemporary European plays:

Ehrensache (A Matter of Respect), Gelbe Tage (Yellow Days) and Die Bombenfrau (The Bomb Woman).

Each of the plays explores, in part, issues related to integration,
ethnic and cultural identity, and/or women's issues.

Presented in German and English.

Recommended donation of 2 cans of food or $5
Food donations will go to Ann Arbor Food Gatherers
Monetary donations will help us purchase English-language materials for "at risk" pupils in Neukölln (Berlin)
to be used in our upcoming Service Learning Literacy Corps intervention in Berlin (May 2009)
