Call for Papers and Instructions for Contributors

Contributions in any area of Middle Eastern Studies, not necessarily limited to library and information studies or bibliography, (articles, notices, review articles, book reviews) are welcome.

When you submit your contributions to the editor, please follow these guidelines:

1. Submit in printed format by mail or fax (or in printable PDF with embedded fonts as e-mail attachments)
2. AND submit in editable electronic format (ascii, Word or Wordperfect, PC or MAC) either on disk or by electronic mail (text or attachment).
3. IMPORTANT: Please include your name, institutional affiliation, and current mailing address at the conlcusion of the text of the article, if you expect to receive offprints.

MELA Notes can accept and print Arabic and Hebrew text as well as roman. Although the Editor does not require the use of any one transliteration scheme for non-roman scripts, he requests that authors maintain consistency in whatever system is employed.

5 offprints will be sent to authors of articles; 3 offprints will be sent to authors of reviews and other communications.
