I joined the department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI as an Ph.D. student in Fall 2004. In 2007, I changed to Individual Interdepartmental PhD Program of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial & Operations Engineering. I got my Bachelor degree in 2001 and Master's degree in 2004 from Tianjin University in China. Currently, I am working as a Graduate Student Research Assistant NSF Engineering Research Center for Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems (ERC/RMS). My advisors are Professor S. Jack Hu of General Motors Collaborative Research Laboratory on Advanced Vehicle Manufacturing (GMCRL) and Professor Goker Adyin of Industrial & Operations Engineering . My research interests now include: □ Product variety and Supply Chain Configuration□ Assembly Supply Chain Complexity Analysis □ Assembly Supply Chain Configuration Design
