I started playing soccer in Fall 1995 as a beginner. I was immediately drawn to sliding through the mud, getting my ass kicked by everyone else, and by the great variety of non-fatal injuries this sport provides. Played in the Ann Arbor Soccer Association League since then, still at beginner level.
