Nuclear accidents are not the only cause of nuclear fallout. Fallout is also caused by
nuclear bomb experimentation. Once a country develops nuclear capabilities, they feel
they must test their bombs. When they test above ground the nuclear blasts cause fallout,
which can be felt all over the world.
In Nevada the effects of the testing that took place above ground in January of 1951 can be directly observed on the population. In 1951 the percentage of low weight births jumped 80% from any other year.
