Haj Ross's papers on syntax, poetics, and selected short subjects

Welcome. This is a new index file for Haj's papers; they are listed below in order of the number of hits they've received since they were put on the Web. Many of these are PDFs from scans, and are thus not subject to text copy, paste, or search -- though that may ameliorate in the future, insha'allah. I have marked the papers on poetics; most of the rest are syntax or other linguistics, with some student advice and spiritual development stuff sprinkled in.

The old index file, with more explanation, lists organized by topic only, bibliography, and Squibnet, is still available, but this one includes some papers not linked there yet.

(Paper # 6 below is a term paper by a U of Michigan undergraduate that Haj -- like me -- was very impressed with; it's a well-thought-out proposal for introducing linguistics into the K-12 curriculum, which is where it belongs, and which is where it's normally found -- in the non-Anglophone world, at least.)

Finally, I take a deep satisfaction from the fact that 13,407 people have downloaded Ross 1967 in the last year (it hasn't been up very long).
